Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya,Panchavati, Malagi.P.O.,Uttara Kannada District, Karnataka was established in October 1988 amidst sylvan settings with an enticing arena to explore the innocent promising minds and churn to reveal the hitherto unexpected potentials in order to provide a solid foundation for the nation in its march towards progress and excellence.



Objectives

To provide good quality modern education to the talented children predominantly from the rural areas, without regard to thei family's socio-economic condition.

To ensure that all students attain a reasonable level of competence in three languages as envisaged in the Three Language Formula.

To serve, in this district, as focal point for improvements in quality of school education in general through sharing of experiences and facilities.
